FEES
All fees for therapy, assessment, and consultation services are based on the recommended guidelines of the Ontario Psychological Association. Work done outside of session (e.g., doctor’s letter, phone consultation) is billed at the hourly rate.
Psychological services are not covered by OHIP. However, most workplace extended health benefits will cover the services of a registered psychologist. Please check with your workplace and insurance company to see what your plan will cover and whether a physician’s referral is needed to access your extended health coverage. Fees for psychological services that are not covered by benefits can be claimed as medical expenses on your personal income tax return.
Payment is due at the end of the session. You will be given an invoice/receipt that may be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement or that can be used for income tax purposes. Payment can be made by e-transfer, debit, or credit card.
It is required that 24 hours notice is given for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. A late cancellation of 50% of the session cost will be charged for appointments that are not cancelled with sufficient notice.
