Sarah Peverill received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Dalhousie University. She trained in assessment and intervention at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax and completed her pre-doctoral residency at Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary. Sarah has experience conducting comprehensive assessments with children and adolescents for a wide range of developmental, learning, attention, and socio-emotional concerns. She also provides therapy to youth experiencing a variety of mental health and behavioural difficulties. Sarah enjoys working collaboratively with children and their parents or caregivers to address challenges and build upon existing strengths. She works primarily from a cognitive-behavioural lens and tailors her approach to each client’s needs. She is passionate about helping others and strives to provide a warm, non-judgmental, and open therapeutic environment.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys camping, hiking, climbing, and cycling with her friends and family, and just generally being outside.
